Riziki Source founded in 2015 to directly address the prejudice, stereotypes, and exclusionary hiring practices that its founder, a person with a physical disability resulting from childhood polio infection, faced during his job search after graduating from university. This experience fueled his determination to address the barriers that talented persons with disabilities face in accessing dignified and fulfilling work. This was the creation of Riziki Source, a tech-enabled platform that connects persons with disabilities with economic opportunities.
Riziki Source works to bridge the gap between persons with disabilities and the workforce. We facilitate workplace diversity, disability inclusion, self-employment and linkages for youth with disabilities in Kenya who have particular skill sets, currently untapped for recruitment as a value proposition for companies, organizations and government formations.
