Basilica Self Help Group is a savings and credit group under the Catholic Church  Archdiocese of Nairobi owned by Christian communities and managed on Christian values of love and charity.

The group was formed in the year 1997 with 20 founding members. Currently, the membership is over 3,700 with around 200m in share capital.

The group is guided by principles as derived from the guideline and the AGM’s resolutions.
